Regent Academy
A school's full digital backbone, from public website to management system.
Overview
Regent Academy needed more than a website. The school wanted a modern public presence and a single system to run students, academics, and administration. I designed and built both, end to end.
The problem
The institution relied on manual, paper-based processes for student records, academic activities, and administration. Its online presence did not reflect the quality of the school, and staff had no central place to manage day-to-day operations.
The solution
I delivered a two-part platform: a fast, animated public website that presents the school to parents and applicants, and a comprehensive management system where staff handle students, academic records, and administrative workflows from one dashboard.
My contribution
- Designed the application architecture across frontend, backend, and database
- Built the public website with Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and Framer Motion
- Developed the management dashboard covering students, academics, and administration
- Implemented the REST API layer with Node.js and Express
- Modeled and integrated the PostgreSQL database with Drizzle ORM
- Handled authentication, role-based access, and deployment to Azure
